Make sure your Google+ profile or page is directly linked to your website. You can do this by claiming authorship (see tip number 3), or by adding a Google+ badge to your website.
Add a Google+ badge to your website
There are two different types of badges: for Google+ profiles and Google+ pages. By placing a badge on your website, you make it easy for your readers to recommend your website – which means you will rank higher in search results. In addition, a badge can also get you more Google+ followers. Telling Google that these two pages (your website and your Google+ profile) belong together can help you dominate the search results.
5. Add the +1 button to your posts
The Google +1 button is similar to the Facebook like button, but has more influence on search results: you will end up higher in the search results if it has more +1’s! This even applies to people who don’t have a profile on Google+. The more +1’s your article has, the more heavily your website Engineering Directors Email Lists will weigh in search results – and the more likely you are to rank higher in a search. In addition, +1’s immediately distribute your article on Google+: users recommend your content in their circles and thus send more traffic to your website. So it is very important to make it easy for your reader to click on that +1. Make sure that the +1 button is automatically added to all your articles.
